Bell Jet Ranger
Gas Turbine Engine
The engine consists of multistage axial - centrifugal - flow compressor, a single combustion chamber, a two stage gas producer turbine, and a two stage power turbine which supplies the output power to the engine.

2. Air Transfer Tubes
3.Combustion Chamber
4. Spark Igniter
5.Turbine
6. Exhaust Pipes
7. Power Output Shaft

Air enters the Compressor and is compressed to 7 times normal atmospheric pressure. Twin Air Transfer Tubes directs this compressed air into the Combustion Chamber.Fuel is injected via the fuel nozzle which is mounted in the aft end of the outer Combustion Chamber case, and the mixture is ignited.
Hot gases then flow forward and expand through four turbine stages. The first two turbine stages provide power to drive the compressor. The two stage free power turbine converts most of the remaining energy to useful power at the output shaft through reduction gears.
